Japan In Toronto was started by Camille and Kimiko2. Camille was born in Toronto and has been studying the Japanese language for almost two years at The Toronto Japanese Language School TJLS in downtown Toronto (see photo below). Kimiko2 first came to Toronto in January of 2006 and is currently considering making her permanent residence here in Toronto. Camille’s interests are writing, blogging, learning Japanese, and anime. Kimiko2’s interests are architecture, design, and the English language.
We have a few contributing editors and authors also. Three from Toronto – Shuichi, Setsuko, Kimberly, and Kimiko1 who lives in Kyoto, Japan. Kimberly is a graduate student at the University of Toronto, and when she isn’t learning about Japanese culture she enjoys gaming (Scrabble, Armageddon MUD, and Magic the Gathering), music, computer programming and idolizing artists at DeviantArt.
We are always growing and expanding. Please leave us a comment anywhere on the site to offer suggestions or feedback.
Currently, we are working on developing a ‘forum’ where you can become a member and participate in discussions here at Japan In Toronto.

Hello! I ‘ll just leave my footsteps here. let me comment with more coming-soon things. see ya.
hello! This is Kim dropping by from Japanese class.. I think this is a great idea and I will help with what I can. First I have to learn how to type with Japanese characters..
Hey Kim!
Thanks for dropping by…
We could use some help. First let me start with my latest discovery. The difference between a blog and a website is that you can only make current posts to the front page (or explained another way – only one page of a blog… please see main page as I want the other members to read this as well…
Thanks… and second, please create your own wordpress account. After that I need your user name and email so I can add you to Japan In Toronto… but don’t do that here. You’ll have to get my personal email which I don’t want to publicize here… hmmm I’m thinking how to do that. I should have gotten it from you in class! LOL! Just go ahead and create the wordpress account for yourself (go to wordpress.com) and we’ll worry about the rest later. If I can’t get you in before next Saturday, then we can do it AFTER next Saturday when I see you! Thanks again Kim
