Hi Adrian,

There is a group called Japanada that meets every Tuesday night at Urbana Coffee shop on Bay St. one block north of Wellesley. It starts at 8pm. You can just show up there any Tuesday night and meet plenty of Japanese people.

If you are interested in being a moderator on this site let me know and I can give you more information about that.

Hi Yuki.... yes, you can go to the language exchange at the U of T. I think a membership for one year costs $13 or $14. You can also pay per visit. It is held at the university on Saturday afternoons from 2:30pm to 5pm.
There is also another language exchange event held on Tuesday evenings at Urbana Coffee on Bay St 8pm - 10pm.

Hi Andrew....

Try Japanada... coffee house get--together on Tuesday nights... I've posted about it before... do a search on the main page for it.

There is also Ichimokukai which takes place on the first Thursday evening of every month. It''s run by Jeff Harju. (do a search for it or look in the blog roll for him)

Every Saturday afternoon there is a language exchange at U of T... ask me if you want the details.

The is a small area known as Little Japan... but its not bit... up near Yonge & Finch. I believe there is a map from a previous post on there as well.

Or
Try going into Sanko on Queen Street West... they are a Japanese run shop... they have been there for years and might have some info you are looking for.
